Quiet times.

Itching doing a bit better; not great. Living at Mom's house while she takes care of a dying family friend down south; I feel lucky to be able to support her and allow her to lend her tremendous knowledge and caring for a friend. When the death occurs and the memorial is announced I'll grab my brother and we'll go down there. I've already started the discussions with him about this.

Joe Tevis, RIP

This morning, surrounded by family and friends, Joe Tevis passed away. He was in his home in Solvang, the place I remember him most from. He was the first person outside my family I can really remember, standing on the pool deck with an old fashion glass full of some iced drink pointing and talking, his skinny legs poking out of his shorts. (Hey, that's the level I saw him at.) He's survived by his wife and kids and a passel of grandkids and a whole heckavulota stories, of which I'll hear some when I go down for the funeral.

Rest in Peace, Joe.
