New Year's Resolution

I'm going to lose a Maria Faul.

At FNW NYE (TLA) I resolved to lose 100 lbs. Yesterday, while partaking of the Dwarf Dinner (MALT BEER AND ROASTED MEAT!) I realized that Maria is Less than 100 pds. So I'll lose a Maria.

I hope she doesn't get pregnant soon...

This is a burning question for me as well. I found this just now:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - No one really knows which diets work and which are a waste of time, with the possible exception of Weight Watchers, U.S. researchers are reporting.

A review of 10 separate studies of weight-loss programs showed there was very little hard data to support any commercial or nonprofit diet approach, the researchers found.

Only Weight Watchers had scientific research to back up its simple approach of keeping a food diary and focusing on low-calorie foods, especially vegetables and whole grains, they wrote in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
