More Adventures...Lost Passport.
Hope I can find it.
After the first dance class went back to the hotel, showered, changed, read a little Pratchett (new Discworld Companion), then went to catch Tracey and tell her I hadn't found June to pass along the Metro pass (left it at the hotel.) After running 10 blocks to find them (they went the other way from the studio for their fish lunch) wandered on to Metro, stopping to have lunch--a $10 cheese pizza and a 5$ sparkling water. Hit the Metro, did the picture thing (first picture place broken), then went over to the LB to find this, my favorite Internet Cafe. After this walked towards D'Orsey, where we met to take the boat ride, and discovered that there's a funfaire in the Gardens de Tuilerie, with a Ferris Wheel. Rode the wheel, great views, then skipped down to Smith's to grab Science of Discworld III.
Then, waiting for the boat, discovered that my passport wasn't where I thought it was. It's not on me, nor at the internet place, so I need to backtrail myself tomorrow and see where it is. Drats. My feet are already too flat!
We rode the boat to a canal that the boat tours don't usually use, then down to a dance pavilion, where a hurdy gurdy player/singer (it was more modern, but a similar instrument) played. I was too worried, so I came to the internet place. Now back to the hotel.
On the backtrack I discovered the sculpture fountain that everyone has always talked about, next to the Pompadou.
Bon Noche!
