Art: Painting, Television, and song

Painting: Who painted me? I thought one of Rembrandt's portrait's did a good job, but can't find it online. Poetically, it's really Ogden Nash. In chalk, M. Coffman. (Meme gakked from judith_s)

Television: "House". Intelligent, witty, difficult. "People lie." But most important: It doesn't shy from modern issues, nor overstate them--what show in recent years has had abortion, right to death, difficulties of drug use, conflict between business and service, all as issues of the day, subtext to doing the greatest good and what should one do with life? I could only wish for a few more supporting characters--the nurses most often used, the chaplain, the service people who really make the machine run. I highly recommend this show. Thank you, Genvieve W.

Song: Learning Italian takes more time. I'm gonna have to fake it.

I agree--I really like House too. Sadly, I never seem to be home to catch it--did I read a post that said it's available on DVD?

First season is sitting on my TV right now.

Which explains why I'm not getting the italian done. I'm looking for a TiVo'd second season, still in progress. Happy to loan to you.
