Two Roads diverged within a wood

http://www.bartleby.com/119/1.html

Two roads diverged with a wood--
Sea roads within a wooden fleet.
Each of us masters of our own fate,
Whether on the sea or on the flood.

In a moment I had to chose,
No matter how long you think
commit thoughts to ear or ink
In a moment, you win and lose.

The sea roads shine with equal sun,
Or perhaps rage with equal storm
Given time, weather is a norm--
As before the wind you run.

I will not tell this with a sigh,
Wind and seas move more than floating wood
I strive to make each choice the best I could--
And always to be sailing high.

yes, I know there are some case changes, it's part of the work. This is responding to a comment made to me about choices, and especially a comment from Deena (d_mon_chick) who told me a long time ago that she'd live a life without regrets. Thanks to her, and to J. Warner, for inspiration in the recent past.

I like this one better than the original... As always the essence in your words, you have such a beautiful way with them.

A good way to live a life.
