Tomorrow is the last day for the HTHS in Redwood City. Two students were expelled today for smoking on campus (mj). Got a call that the teacher leaving the morning program dismissed the teacher's aide who is teaching tomorrow.
Generally mental weakness resolved itself into nausea and sinus headache; yay that it's not a migraine (which sent another teacher to the hospital two days ago.)
My standards for teaching are very high; I'm not achieving much, but still more than some others. I hope this doesn't hurt the students. But when I ask for the standards in the afternoon, the vagueness is maddening.
Summer school ends in two weeks. I need to find my next gig. Burning Man somewhat beckons, but until this all ends it's solid keeping school going.
