All around me I see angels.
Not floaty lighty bits, with divine revelations (well, some: "Try the salmon!") but people, real people, who exceed this gross material world and basic expectations and when you don't expect it come through with wit and aid and wisdom and an occasional boot to the butt.
Like my Brother. Who, after listening to me talk about a situation where he could have gotten out air horns, fired off fireworks, and had a dancing chorus of Mexican Day Laborers spell out "I TOLD YOU SO" (whatever that is in Mexican) instead smiled, put his hand on my shoulder, and told me he'd cover for me.
Like WingedCorset. Who, although spending time with the most important people in her life, out at a theater outing on a play she had worked rather tirelessly on, still had time to help out my mother by finding an assisted listening device, rescueing the play for my Mom. Just leapt into action, used her credit with theater people, and got one after they had stopped giving them out. Wow.
