Wedding is off

John is Confused. Raine is confused. John is not happy with the person he's been for the last month. Lessons:

1. Saying "It's moving too fast" is actually "I'm not ready" in disguise.

2. Just because you're exhausted doesn't mean you shouldn't listen harder.

3. There are a LOT of sticking points moving up to a marraige.

Specific lessons:

1. Figure out what you want. State it clearly. Be willing to negotiate.

2. Weddings are hard. Moving in when you're a control freak is harder.

3. The question of how much you'll change to chase a dream...leads to dangerous non negotiations.

Whines:

1. ALL expectations are unrealistic unless you're a mind reader. Put it on the table.

2. Making a decision without including someone is a sure way to bring out negative behaviour in them.

3. Not being married on the first date pass does not invalidate the wedding...but does increase the need for communication.
