Fight Practice
Dec. 24th, 2003 01:12 amThe evening rain held off long enough to allow beautiful weather for the die hards--
Geoffrey, Vytas and Jade were still on the field when I arrived, with Evander and Uther downarmoring. Armored up, did slow with Vytas, then fought him, then Geoffrey, then Vytas; didn't make it to Jade. GS discovered a hole in my defense, but was only able to hit my leg while I was kneeling.
GS: Needs to work on commitment into the fight, and having a better set of killing combos. He especially needs to work on acting and not reacting. (I may rewrite "the seven habits of highly successful stickjocks" for him.)
Vytas needs to chop his blows rather than draw them, and to also take the fight more to his opponent. He also needs to stop cheating his wraps close.
I need to put a skirt on my body armor, fix the arms, and make a new shield or two--I lent mine to Jade after his died, and it died after Geoffrey aggro'd it. But I had better power tonight, and some flow, even on the muddy field.
Good practice. I committed to make a square for Vytas, so I shall.
