Today we did detention. And Freshman advisory. It just gets better and better; looks like I'll be helping with detention for the rest of the week.

EDIT: I've been providing breaks for the other teachers. Three of them have complimented me on how well the students are doing with me as a sub. WTF? The instructional leader invited me to observe her classes so I could see her methods and specificially said that her students thought I was a very good teacher. WTF?

My perception =/= their perception. VERY STRANGE.

LearningTeaching. Learnteach. Still, I've got applications in at places where I could teach engineering. That's what I want to do. We'll see!

Interesting Point.

When I went to school, High school, whatever, it was pre computer. No computer games, really; one TV per family and not that many channels. No CD's, MP-3 players, and magazines were more boring and more expensive compared to today.

In all ways, it was more interesting and more resourceful for me to be in school; it was more *entertaining* in most ways.

Not so anymore. It's a problem.
