I hope it's really only three.
May. 19th, 2006 03:14 pmMy across the way neighbor, who had the house facelifted two months ago, told me today that his wife, Marie, passed away on Monday after three weeks in intensive care from heart failure. She had been weakened horribly by her 5 year bout with cancer.
An ambulance took her away three weeks ago; she said goodbye to her husband and children from there.
We only conversed sporadically--I bought things whenever her daughter was fundraising for her Japanese/American school, and said hi when we were both in the front yard--but I miss her.
That's three in my immediate life in the last couple weeks. I'm really tired. Can we avoid death for a while, guys?
