John's Birthday Bash, slash and Barbeque and Triquincineara

SUNDAY June 11, Noon--Drunk 30, there will be a party in Sunnyvale's Ponderosa Park for my Birthday. There will be some fighting, some hurley, and eating, drinking and possibly even cake.

Festivities start at noon, with a bit of a Birthday Pas. My goal is to fight 45 times, at least once with everyone in armor, and finish it off with a "spanking"--fighting the line, injuries retained until defeat, 45 fights. This will end by two, and we'll take the field for some hurley, and complete the running around and feeling good.

At the end of this, 5ish, we'll dig into the barbeque (or if I can't get a pit reserved, go over to Fibbar's and dig into their food.)

Lemme know if you wanna be there. Bring activities of the running around type, and food might be nice.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES: HARD HATS NOT REQUIRED!

I've rented the larger barbeque area with picnic tables for the day, so we have bucu (French for "Good Shot!", right? Beau Coupe) space and a barbeque pit. I'm recruiting people to help out, with organization.

This party IS kid friendly; there's a nice kid's playground right there, and we'll have some kid/adult activities, including but not limited to bubbles, squirtguns, threelegged races, eating cake, running around in circles, chasing inflatable balls around. Bring the smaller party animals!
