Bought the burner ticket. Means that hanging fire on the job continues; but if the job is worthy, it'll accept that week off.

I am so lucky I can't believe it.

And I'd like to thank you for all your support during my most recent emotionally tough time.

Today, I did several good deeds.

Today, I was gifted with "Wintersmith", after passing my copy on.

Today, a man told me "Assume it will work. Then prove your assumption wrong." Much more positive than going the other way.

Yesterday, I danced, I saw old friends, and some new ones--it's something to realize that that 3' high 5 year old is now competition on the gaming machines and tables. Well, it's been 8 years, so yeah...but what joy in finding more interesting intellectual fun people.

Today I got a table I've always wanted. Time for dinner parties.

Today I bought a ticket to Burning Man.

Today is a good day.
