I have to pitch in a vote for attempting another school before you make up your mind entirely. Possibly a different topic as well. You have alot in that purdy head of yours, and it might take pressure off to not have to deal with all the physical resources needed to teach science.
But whatever you choose, at least you know your friends are all going to understand.
