Greening California

After the heat of Summer--ah, the California Gold!                        Comes a traveler from Newcastle, land of coal and cold. 
The fall will bring the soft fog and rain,                                         He now makes Sunnyvale his domain
And California will be reborn--green                                             Adds to our cooking and Litquake scene
New sprouts will rise, new leaves unfold                                      Dresse'd is he in black, and gold
The rains will wash the air all clean                                             He's now one of us, at the Coffee Bean
                                    And Chaz is here now, with a card of Green!
