Catchup
It's not just a sugar substitute colored red anymore!
The weekend was spent doing very little...but when I return to the week, and experience the work stress, I'm amazed that I do anything at all. This week is typical. As of the first day (Tuesday) I had one appointment each day, and about 4 hours of research/file/catchup work. As of each morning, I have at least one major disagreement with a co-worker on how things are to be done (not necessarily a direct disagreement, but still always unpleasant) and at least 1 if not 2 more appointments.
So, I get up earlier (but the appointments are now starting earlier) and work harder later but...the only measure of success here is making sales, and Zippy will throw me into any and every situation in the hope that the customer will feel guilty enough to give us money (or some thing) so...if I refuse, he goes straight to management and complains until I'm sent out; if I call him on it, he says we need more local resources and it's not his fault but we have to make sales and I have to understand that.
I don't see the win, here, at all. What am I achieving? Nothing, really; sales is writing on sand before the quarterly tide; what was done in the past has no relation to the cycle today.
As for the diet, I fell completely off it over the weekend, and when I went in was given a "white protein" only ketosis inducing regime. 1 day in, eggs and chicken (and a little cheese) and vitamins. More on friday.
Between the work stress and the diet, I'm wrung out all the time...and the main problem with the work stress is talking to anyone at work has a negative affect on me, because then more meetings are scheduled and finger pointing occurs (quite strongly).
Sigh. 3 meetings tomorrow, on the road by 7:40 to make the first one, out at 6 PM. Hopefully I'll be able...wait, four meetings...to not get stuck in the third meeting and actually get lunch. Didn't get one today.
Food today:
Breakfast: Egg, decaf coffee. 7:30 Am in the car/at the desk
Snack: Fructose pills
Lunch: 2 hardboiled eggs, decaf coffee. 12:30 at the desk
Dinner: 6:15 at home, 5 oz chicken/1 oz cheese, coffee (decaf)
Late dinner: after nap, 9:30, 3 oz chicken 1 oz cheese, vitamin drink, diet tea (1 cup)
Did OK on water, but no exercise today--ran out of time.
