Experiment results: Bad, good, bad, great.

In order:
1. Tracking invites by LJ: Bad. Fail. Gotta call and/or email.
2. Posting event info to LJ: Good. Saw people not expected, crowd was different from normal.
3. LJ tracking plus unclearness on time/events meant that the bonfire didn't go. Bad. But V. brought sparklers, good.
4. Cheese fondue separated (I think my heat is too high). Bad. Xtal commented on the chocolate, and I turned it down. 1 cup burgandy, one bag dark, 4 squares baking, WOW on rasberries, bananas, apples...wish I could have found some decent strawberries, but not the season, here or Chile.

Mmmm. Fondue.

Damn, completely missed the original post. Ah well. Another time.

LJ invites bad. People forget which weekend the event is (like me. I thought it was next weekend). ):
New brakes good, which is what I was getting for my car this weekend.

It sounds like you had a pretty good time. Good! (: I'll try and make it up for the next one. (:

I wrote my effigy intentions in the sky with the sparklers

If you take the kirsch and mix it with a little cornstarch before putting it in, then let it bubble up a bit and thicken, it usually keeps the cheese from seperating.

correlation and causation

Since your first 3 results involved LJ, I'm sure the fourth must too. Obviously the fondue separation was because of LJ tracking. (Right?)

Strawberries not in season?

Hmmmmm. then where are the ones at the store coming from? And I think the strawberry stand down in Santa Maria was still open... let me go look in the yard... but then, I live in the land of odd weather...
