Audacity, etc.

Inspired, I adopt a french phrase that I cannot say. Soon, someone will teach me how to say it.

Goals for now: Heal the leg. Share the Christmas spirit so generously gifted to me today (OMG.) Have more Audacity.

So there I am, sitting in the chair (this one), looking out the door. Don't wanna walk or drive using the leg, that's contraindicated. What shall I do? Sit and read. When in come through the door Santa and an Elf. Well, certainly the holiday spirit, with twinkles in their eyes. They BLEW me away! They gave me mugs to have hot chocolate in, hot chocolate, warm apple pie candles, a Santa plushie to wrap up in, magazines and books to distract me, and a notebook for my thoughts. What a wonderful set of gifts! I feel...I feel...

I'm going to clean up and Christmas the living room. If you want to come join me, I'm going to make batches of cookies to give away. And since my current plan is to be away over the actual holiday, I plan to hold a Hogswatch dinner between Christmas and New Year. Email me if you want to come bake cookies, or come be Discworldish!

I need some new cookie recipes, too.

Toujours l'audace, mon ami. Heal well and speedily. May the spirit of Christmastide fill you with joy. Many virtual hugs from across the Continent.

(Wish I could come to your Hogswatch dinner and enjoy all the many festive varieties of pork meat and organ products served there.)

That's the phrase!

We'll figure out the Hogswatch thing. Have you decided on your Hogswatch witch's name yet?

Toujours l'audace, mon ami!
