I am positive I am not going to Dicken's this year. :(



But really, the thing is, I'll miss seeing my friends, especially the ones I rarely get to see, but not the parking, the drive (Moby the Van is having troubles, new ones) the crowds, the concrete floors, being inside the sheds...so I'll express my christmas spirit this way, and send cards to those friends I miss at Faire, especially Paddy (who is often West) and Diana (who will be wearing Sex on a Stick tomorrow, OMG!) and Katherine, and Scully, and Fionn and the brew gang (who I can see locally) and Fencer Pirate (who I should wander up and see in the City) and all the rest. And Michelle, organizer of corsets, and Lodema of cool pottery, and...

I'm also skipping out on another party--because I don't have the right dress. How weak is that? Very, but when it's not together, it's not together, so instead, I'll prep for the next party in the sequence.

And ask this question: IF there was a fondue do at my digs in Sunnyvale in the intermediary week, would anyone want to come be cheesy?

There it is! Oh, and a big shout out to Rebecca, who put up with my grumbling while we walked to the Farmer's Market. And told me to get out and see people at the Dicken's Faire. She's the best.
