That's my problem, I think.
Felt pretty crappy Monday, didn't really get moving. The two changes were recent rain and eating a bunch of cheap chocolate sunday night. Today, for some reason, the water has been flowing out of me, no idea why. Stopped twice at the new Popeye's on Hollenbeck at the El Camino while out walking to use the loo, and the second time bought a drink (guilt). "Hi C Pink Lemonade (0% Fruit Juice)" 20 minutes later I'm itching all over; 10 minutes more I'm so tired I can barely think.
Doubt it's the vitamen C.
Time for the BOAT diet for a bit, perhaps.

Date: 2005-03-23 06:54 pm (UTC)and a diabetes check certainly couldn't hurt.

Now, on the other side, fungus infections are pernicious -- that's what causes most diaper rash. Candida specifically, which looks like little red dots randomly scattered, and then spreads. The same critter makes thrush, which looks like shiny red patches.
There are topical things to kill it -- the athlete's foot stuff -- as well as systemic fungicide medicines, but the systemic has a lot of side effects. We've been combatting a long-term systemic with my sweetie, using prescription topical cream. It's been months of regular application. So if you can solve it by avoiding sugars (and presumably, near sugars, like refined carbs) that is by far the easiest solution, much as it is annoying.
