Life is definately controlled chaos... Sure there are external factors at work (kinda reminds me of the Improbability Drive a la Hitchhikers), but you do have some say in it... (Like the Bistromathic-waiter calculations if i remember correctly).

You know a bit of my chaos/BS/etc... and my attempts at resolving some of the same issues that you are facing. Some i've controlled, others still stump me, but as long as i have a plan, and follow that plan... i will get there eventually.
