Sweet Dreams

Location: Rusty's digs in Apple Valley, where the PERFECT HOST has quietly offered coffee and "anything you want from the kitchen, computer's right there." He gets geek nirvana. Low carb creamer and splenda. Laptop with top cover sticker saying "Talk Nerdy to Me" and "Information is Power". Bliss! Oh, with cats: scaredy cat, big bold hunter, and dangerkitten, who all slept and roamed around me last night (Dangerkitten so noted for trying to sleep on my head, big bold hunter likes my shoulders.)
Location: Dreams are easiest when you awake and fall back to sleep; the cats kept the sleep light, and there were no other disturbances. I dreamed of strange things--work, and computers, and houses. The work dream was cathartic and amusing; I was back at the last job, ignored as usual, but when they came to yell at me I was talking with people from the previous jobs, some of whom I need to go look up (dream life segue into real life.)
This is really the first dream I've had about the last job that's tolerable in any way, with the petty tyrants of the last job not causing me any stress. And I dreamed back to earlier jobs.
I think it's time to take my own advice; go find a really good group of people doing something amusing, and work with them for a year or two making it better. While I'm there, get the MA in education (moving, not completed) and save up a bunch of money. Get back into Aikido. Possibly start up the tutoring/teaching gig.
Location: It's strange to realize that at this point in my life, I don't need to see anything. People, yes; places, no.
