If you happen to have done a school demo today, then I have some hearty THANK YOU!'s to pass on. If it wasn't you, then I have to wrack my brain as to who else could fit "Sir John, BIG, handsome, very patient, did fighting stuff".

Hmm. That was me, we didn't do as well as I would have wanted to, but the fighters were on and the teachers very well organized. Not enough time to interact with the students, but wow! one showed up in full chainmail with a wonderful sheild he made himself, and obviously owned a sword, and there were a bunch of very respectable looking hobbits...guess this was the place the Nazgurls (see Baycon) were looking for. Still, whack a knight, etc. Who was there? I was in my red Houppe with hearts, hard to miss...

Next demo Wednesday!

A friend of mine teaches there, and didn't get a chance to thank you herself "too many teenagers in the way"
