Wait! Weight! Whey't! Waist!

Just saw the pictures from the parties;
Oy. Shock and dismay. Non-realization. Aieeeee. Boy, I'm fat.
I know, the scale tells me, and my clothes tell me, but my internal image doesn't tell me. My internal image is "round but strong and graceful". My external image is VERY ROUND.
The parties went off great, thanks to the people involved. If you weren't there, sorry; the first one was explicitly for throwing kids in the pool and limited by amount of kid landing zone available. (Total 9 kids in the pool.) The second one was dancing, and I didn't do well on the invites. Well, 30 (40? hmm. 123456 7890123 4567 89012 345678 90123 45 6 ...yeah, somewhere in there) Guys, if you think you should come, or want to consider coming, ask.
The surprise for me in the second party is how popular the polka is, and how many balloons fit in my car. The win was the games; the Vampire Tango was sillier than expected, and the musical chairs more skillful.
The surprise in the first party was how poorly a few people mixed; not what I had expected, although in retrospect...
Now, on to making wedding things work.

It was decided that you should have that warm after-party glow to take home with, as a pleasant reminder of the fun that was had. Did it work? ~.^

Date: 2005-06-14 02:20 am (UTC)I'm very sorry I didn't make it. I woke up at 12:51, and wasn't really mobile until after 3:00, at which point dressing up and being around a large group of people just wasn't happening for me. So...
