Yesterday: Good classes. But I only got 4 hours sleep, so I was tired. Knee is very, very stiff.
And the allergies are full out, I'm assuming from alcohol. But the hotel has a sauna/pool complex, which I will go use.
We took a roadtrip yesterday to two historic (and very cool castles) linked by a boat ride, then drove to a compound where we saw a Czech folkdance group (run by the dance teacher we've been working with) and they danced and we danced. I felt so out of it I went outside and lay down in the grass, and encountered a mint looking nettle plant that gave me instant hives with a burning sensation. Went back in, ate, sang a Czech song, bus back to hotel.
Slept better last night that.
The view from the reconstructed barn we were in was amazing. The variety of plants in the grass; amazing; at least 10 types of little flowers. Including the nettle. The castle had a dancing room with a fresco of dancing, with hats and shoes and above it the Kings of the area (Rex Bohemia, Palantine Rein, Dux ???(can't remember), Margrave Brandenburg).
Sang stupid songs on the way back. Need to learn how to Hash (House Harrier). Today: more classes and the big danceball; must go get costume ready.
Note: Really, honestly, better time than this sounds. It's just that I'd rather whine online and get it out of my system than spoil things on the tour.
Oh, watched and Italian game that translates as "Trump" being played. It's great; table trash talking is encouraged. "You call that a lead? My ancient grandmother could lead better than that, and she's 20 years dead!" "With these cards you dealt, that was the closest to gold that could be found. Piss yellow is sometimes all you get" and then cursing in Italian. Seems a great way to learn the language...
