Thanks [livejournal.com profile] tugrik!

The new tires are great, did slab south, and the bike is much much more surefooted. You are indeed the wireless/motorcycle Bull Monocerous Geek!

Went on a ride with Tug, Uvas valley (one of his stomping grounds) down towards Airline Highway. Corbin Cafe was closed, so we went to Tres Pinos and ate at the Mexican place there--cute, but didn't have their act together. Loved the mariachi steel frogs, though. Checking the bikes before we headed back out, he offered to help me replace my tires, and called Road Rider and ascertained that they had tires in stock and there. So we rode back to his place, pulled the wheels, got new tires on them at RR, and put them back on.

The bike isn't squirrely now. Turns easy, and doesn't shimmy when I go to the left.

I did discover that one of my helmet locks fell off somewhere. Time to go buy locktite, yep, you're right Tug;
"Use Locktite or lose your nuts!"

Hehe! You're quite welcome. :)

The phrase is from ADVRider:

"Use locktite or kiss your nuts goodbye"

Tires are really important! At any rate, now you know the symptoms, you can diagnose on your own next time.
