Teaching and Trees

Continuing on. Babysat some economics classes today; we watched DVD's. Whacked on the tree.
Things learned: Wash the treelimb before you chainsaw it. The pressure washer cuts through wet dirt but not dry earth. And everyone likes to stop and check on a project.
I'll give it two more days of hacking, perhaps one, cut the three roots, and try to pull it over with a vehicle and a come along strap. Skipping Collegium; oh well. Need to get things together more.
Have some pictures of the tree now; it's taller than I am when I'm standing in the hole (big surprise!) But soon, soon....
