learnteachTo those who saw my earlier post; Sorry, had to vent. Got some coffee and lunch and got the lobes leaping not lurking and greeted the wildchild when he came through the door, surprising him. Then referred another student to him for an answer on the homework, and he was more interested in the class than anything else.
Still, there's a lot of babysitting. If I could figure out how to engage these kids...I'd be paid more? Nope. But I still find it fun.
Early poll results discouraging. If the proposition passes regarding teaching, I'm not even going to apply to any more schools. It's going to screw the profession entirely.
Went to a SoBaWriMo write in; wow. Laptop failed to work and I still wrote about 1000 words. A 16 year old across from me broke the 25K mark, but having your various characters sing the alphabet song...well, not for me.
Wordcount updated tomorrow after I type it all in.
