Not writing enough words. Helped brother move stuff. And things. Got a call from the city guy, he sez it looks good but he can't close the case until I get rid of the log. He also mentioned changes my neighbors needed to do. Apparently, he's gotten calls on ALL the houses on the street. He also mentioned the possibility of a house improvement loan; that, I don't want.

You mean there's an option other than "all of it - you haul"? I'd be interested in largish pieces with interesting grain, perhaps three or four. Was "800lbs" an exaggeration, or a real approximation? My email is suetoo at svpal dot org.
