The Stump is now the Rootball
The Good, the Bad, and the Interesting
The Good: Fixed the dripping faucet, got the new spout that works with Kwilliam's dishwasher installed, tested dishwasher: IT WORKS! Little things like clean dishes can be so nice. Living with Deena in the house temporarily is nice, she has such a positive spin on life. And with three of us, it's worth cooking, so we do. The fridge is FULL of food.
I'm also coming more to grips with what I need to do on the job front. Really, the two big things are 1. Health benefits and 2. Enough money to pay the bills. The rest all balances out; working with children vs. travel on the company dollar, big money vs. done by 4ish every day rather than long weeks, playing with technology vs. not playing with salesdroids. So...I'll work towards both, every day, until one or the other works out for a bit.
DR pointed out that root burl wood would be loved by turners to make bowls. I know a few turners, and I'd prefer to see the wood used.
Friday Night Waltz this week! Le Crapaud this week!
The Bad: Newtone's Conservation of Energy meant that since I fixed the dripping sink, the dripping would start elsewhere: on the bike. Drats. The Stump, now the Rootball, as of yet isn't to the level I can just roll it into the backyard. I'll keep cutting.
Miss AR. Oh well. It happens.
Not getting enough school work. Solution: sign up for more districts.
Not writing enough. Easy and obvious to fix.

As soon as it's small enough to roll more easily, I'll roll it behind the fence and THEN look at my cutting options better. But to do that, I need to cut at least 100 lbs off of it, shouldn't be too hard. Root burl is heavy!
