Thank you Arcane!

WHEE! The artist figured out how to get the technology needed! Until then, I hope to dodge the judgement of the inspector with:

The Text: "The World Upside Down or Now I'm a pocket gopher, gnawing, gnawing."

Jake, the enforcement guy, came by and related the story of his Gopher Garden in Aptos. He actually found the sign really funny. We discussed code enforcement in Sunnyvale and in Santa Cruz. Apparently, in Santa Cruz there's less rules, but people are much more rabid about doing things their way.

He also noted that the fence doesn't meet code (too close to the sidewalk in the front yard. Aargh! Off to the planning commision; he's not going to raise the issue, but they're the ones who figure it out.

Do they make garden pocket gopher statues? Nope, not according to Google.

You really need to enshrine that thing somewhere in your garden now. After such a fight, such a worthy adversary needs to be honored!!
