WooT! Bought a Roomba. Blame Gizbot.

He's pointed out that www.woot.com has interesting stuff. One per day. Last night, in the wee hours of the morning, I laid plastic down and bought a Roomba. And now I discover: http://www.myroombud.com/buy.html

Costumes for the vacuum cleaner. Woah.

Let me know how it goes. But not the clothes. That's just too ... odd.

That's a hoot! I have roomba envy--I think it'd really help me with my cat-hair problems, but I have a lot of area rugs with fringe that I'm afraid it would chew up. I won't part with my rugs, so I'm stuck vacuuming the old-fashioned way for now. :-(

you're welcome to borrow it and see

although I bet you're right. but...the future is here! Now I want my rocket car. But the way people drive around here...perhaps not.

I must have one (roomba, that is).

Roomba costumes

Insufficiently spooky. What about a witches' hat, which wanders randomly around the floor? A UFO sculpture. A mysterious blob. Fragmented mirror tiles. A round picture frame -- user to choose the face.

Ooh--a mirrorball.

Those usually use glass; I was thinking of acrylic mirror pices. Although sawing a mirror-ball in half would be a lot easier.
