Means little star. I think I saw them. Achieved the basic plan: Fight, drink, sing, sleep, repeat.
Also wrote poetry, flirted, and did Pelican stuff. The only downside: had trouble sleeping due to the cold; need to make better/warmer sleeping arrangements.
Arrived Thursday night, picked up by C at the airport, who whisked us off to a grocery store where much good food was found, including some very nice inexpensive wines--esp. a leibframilch and a cabsyrlot. Ate dinner at "Shogun", a poor restaurant experience, but the company was grand. Discussed various things. Wandered out to site, found the space, found my stuff from the truck, set up, dressed, went over to the Wench.
Got into several interesting conversations, started drinking wine that BTw, a rapier fighter, offered. Wrote some poems on a napkin based on the conversations at the table, not the best, but to an interesting point. Finally remembered how I knew Rh+, oy! for a better memory. I knew her as a woman who looked too young to be drinking; now she's a women who looks to young to be married, with children. I guess I just think she looks too young!
Got up the next morning, discovered no cup or card, but Hamish loaned me the emergency cup, and got armored and out there after helping set up Royal and getting fed by Hilarie the Food Puppetteer.
Fought, fought, fought, got some kills, stayed with the units, but really have to lose the weight to have the energy.
More later....short summary:
Fighting: Know what needs to be fixed.
Singing: Bawdy Bardic LMAO funny. Learned about 5 new songs, discovered in the wench a singer I need to follow up on.
Poetry: Need to work on my handwriting; need to carry paper worth passing on.
Clothing: New undertunics, fighting hose, warm sleeping hood and gloves?
Camp: Must get Table. So elegant! Make one! Ra.
Flirting: Do more.
Drinking: Wine is very nice.
More later, including a couple poems.
