Got a lot of fun in today.
Gunnar is visiting from Oertha. I ate some oatmeal, left him a bowl, caught Palm Sunday Mass, had coffee with X and GM at the newer coffeehouse that turns out also to be an afghan restaurant, got home, grabbed Gunnar, hit the Farmer's market and Ananda's, went to Camville fighter practice in Fremont, drove back over on 92 and then down 35 (trees!), grabbed grub from TJ's, cooked and ate dinner, drank most of a bottle of white merlot (eh) and just realized that Z(?): I'm tipsy. and Y(:)? I left my helmet on the back of the bike and now it's soaked in the rain. Oops.

Good dinner. To do:
a) Gunz to the meadery; b) find more fighter practices c> fix armor, shield d? clean garage and move the BMW inside, it had a tow ticket on it this morning f stop reading books instead of getting things done g start the writer's group I've been threatening, monthly (Sunday) meetings to work out of "Charting the Course" by Ursula Le Guin h get BurningMan Tix and figure out camp details jjjjjplan that birthday party ko! take some dress up pictures for the cute women who want them (eyp. That's you ladies in far away places who like the utilikilt) llllllwrite some of the still owned poems.

Fresh broccoli, fresh asparagus, steamed in water with ginger in it, dressed with lemon and salt and pepper, along with egg noodles, fresh garlic, sausages and Hunt's spaghetti sauce. Bottle of white merlot.

Very cool picture (something new under the sun, ha!)

Burning man sounds like so much fun. Once I was going to go with my friend as it was right after her 18th birthday. Plans fell through. Basically - how the hell are two 18 year olds going to afford tickets?

My former english teacher goes every year and my friends of my parents run the barbie death camp.

some day, I'd like to think I'll make it.

I'm sure you will; you're a happening person and it's a happening place. But with what else is happening I think you'll be happier heading more south than slightly north, like you've been doing. And who cares what the roomies think? But when you get closer to that reality, lemme know and I'll point out all the ways that your Estrella SCA experience in dust, drunkeness and finding fabulously boy relate to burning man. Of course, YMMV, and you're too cute for my advice to truely apply. The odd thing? SCA camping and victorian clothing choices at Burning Man make me happy. Nothin' like livin' comfortable, with a good hat and some elegance at hand. (the photo I use here was taken at Burning Man 3 years gone now.)

See you at an event at some point, I hope!
