Little bit better every day.
Re-evaluating priorities and the stories I tell myself, as they arise. It's more important to play with my nephew in the pool than worry about his math grade (although trying to help him gets mixed up in the Mom show.) Getting plenty of sub work, and good feedback from it.
Still feels like someone has cut my strings, dropping me limp to the ground, about once or twice a day. This is occuring less than it was last week, though.
Taught basic basic war maneuvering Tuesday at the new fighter practice. New fighter (Peg, very gung ho) knows LAH from geocaching, and has one of her books from a Berkeley cache. Y'know, I used to think I was well connected in the world by social networks, but I take it back. EVERYONE knew Leigh Ann. At least everyone I want to know, more or less.
Talked with Geoffeymatt about Siobhan's challenge tonight. I don't think I'll take on something new; instead, I'll up the passion on one of my already occuring thangs. It's not like I need a new passion; I could resurrect one of a thousand, from bellydance to drumming for dance to social theater to aikido to performance art to network engineering. Gardening. Shakespear plays. Sworddancing. Singing. Writing songs.
Trying to keep Greg in the loop. We'll see what happens. Perhaps he'll make the concert...but probably not, as he works until midnight Friday.
Still planning to make 8 pepper salsa (hot) for the wake. Thanks Dunc for letting me know how much of a wimp the last one was. :) No, really, I'm not that much of a chilihead.
Contemplating a long distance ride. Colorado? Metro DC? Dunno. Figure it out. Time to go and see the world.

Date: 2006-05-25 06:24 pm (UTC)Elton is working on a page where we can register our quest objective -- lots of folks want to know what others are doing. I'll spread the info far and wide when it's up.
