Enough of that. Random update instead!

1. No, I'm not ignoring you. I burn so much energy at school that I come home, take care of a few things, then crash. By the time I'm awake, it's too late to do other things, usually. Yes, it sucks, yes, it will change.

2. No, I haven't decided what to do next. Yes, I recognize that my best friend is a camel, this river is low and sluggish, and the sandbox has pyramids and a big stone cat in it, but I still don't think I'm in De Nile.

3. Even if I am...Llama!

4. Working with children as students is incredibly rewarding. Working with...wait, this horn is still resounding from going wah wah wah earlier in the week.

5. Tomato-y goodness. They're producing. Up to 12 (12!) plants, so if you want some, it's quite possible, once I finish making salsa, bruschetta, and sauce. TOMATOES! And pumpkins, and a watermelon vine, which doesn't have to produce any watermelons because it's cool.

6. House projects? Burning Man projects? SCA projects? See #1 and #2.

7. I feel fortunate to be involved in these teaching things. Despite all the (insert Jayne explitive) problems.

8. The being in front of class all day (7 hours on stage in front of 33+ students) makes me much less social in the other time. It's not that I don't want to see my friends, it's just that I don't have much to say (that isn't schoolbabble) and no need really to say it.

9. Scream it, in some cases, but that's a no go.

10. Dickens: Should I go try to dance at Fezziwigs?

Who knows?

That's the plan;

I was *serious*. *grin* I don't know that I would Newt Wrangle, in this weather, but waltzing, I am considering.

The plan has met reality; and fallen asleep.

(Pout.) Another time?

And here I was feeling guilty for not having made it there myself! Another time, certainly.

not so good on the guilt, and another time perhaps Dickens, if not earlier? Have fun at Worldcon!

Oh, I'd think earlier than *Dickens*, silly. Besides, Mrs. Stowe doesn't dance.

Indeed--extroverting is hard work (at least, it is if one is an introvert :-D).

You have my sympathies--and best wishes for figuring out the best resolution :-)

Even for an Extrovert

It's a lot of on time. ANd the classes are very large, which takes a lot of energy.

Oooooh! Tomatoes!!!

What with that HUGE yard,

From: [identity profile] learnteach.livejournal.com
you should plant a few yourself.

yeah, but

everytime I think about doing something to the yard, my dad says, "Don't bother -- we're going to sell the house next year."

I did plant tomatoes once. We didn't get very many, and they weren't very good. And I planted 150 bulbs one year and got THREE flowers. Me and plants? Not a very good match. :->

If you want to be a llama, you need to learn the llama theme song first.

I didn't know where it came from till I heard the Llama song.

Oh, wait, I guess I knew it came from the Llama song because it says so on the page. I just didn't know what the Llama song was at the time...
