I hate waiting.

No call from the admin staff for LPS, the current job lead. Sigh. Why do I believe Principals when they say the HR staff will call? Experience says otherwise. The training for new teachers starts Thursday, and I've got calls in, so some resolution will occur tomorrow. It's not the "Yes" or "No" that gets me, it's the "Yes" then "No contact."

On another front, I bought a new PC. HP gets the stinkfinger award for loading so much crap on their machines, still finding it and eliminating it. And since I first got it, my DSL has slowed down to 1/4 the original speed...hmm. Comcast is looking better.

why are we waiiiiiiting. Wigging. Wonking! But not working...

Oooo, BTW, HTHB scored a 9% proficiency for freshmen in Physics on the big state testing stuff -- scores were released today. So of the students taking it, overall more than 90% weren't even at basic proficiency. Abyssmal! *grin*
