Less drama today, engaging the problem students one on one, giving the class naptime. Freshman still full of vim and vigor (vinegar and sweetness) ("the class I love to hate").

Still feel weak, hammered. Must change the diet somehow. Or get some exercise.

you were very very very helpful with the last job...this one is more special. The people are the best I've ever worked with (literally) and the situation the most messed up. My cry for help was heard, but they're not blocking the door. We'll see what can be done.

I think all schools exist in continual crisis mode.
