Proactivity.
Jan. 25th, 2007 11:38 amFeels good, right? Well, the discipline committee presented their new form this morning, with no procedure. I, like a smart bunky, missed the meeting, because Administration (love to non-personify them) reacted negatively to teacher questions, feeling challenged. And the flame war is off. Of course, if you don't present a system, how can people comprehend the methods of use?
And, being proactive on the "Freshman Project". All the other teachers are now asking me for the materials. All the people who said they would have materials available have dried up, the materials are too fragile, they're too busy.
FUCK. On the hook for 80 students and no help. Why try? Just getting poster paper around here requires the principal to pony the money up, and my damn phone still takes calls from the switchboard for the counselor.
