Frustrated Anger

Well, it's a day. Got a call last night from T in Ashland, she's being kicked out and really, really needs someone to drive a load of stuff down on Saturday...but Sunday will do, difficult as it is. Her (ex?) husband and the landlady will be out of town, watching a concert for his birthday, and she has to be gone by Monday.
Fuck.
There's no one else to help.
Fuck.
She's screwed, and my plan for that weekend was to catch the Peter Gabriel concert as part of a birthday celebration for myself, and catch up with people. So a friend really, really needs me, and I'm a white knight who helps people out.
Nope.
I'm a goddamned enabler. She's getting screwed, blued, and having "Welcome" tattooed on her because she fears she'll lose what little threads of connection she has to her man and her ex-best friend. She won't go public with the story because of the backlash...and it's going to backlash. She won't go to a lawyer because there's no point.
Hey, I've done extractions before. It always goes to a lawyer. Much better a lawyer than the police, frankly, and I've been there for those too. And there's debt involved; let it be his. There's stuff; it's not worth anything to me, but there's emotional value for her.
And for the kids, as well, of course.
She's being a victim. Obviously, she's getting great help from her ex and ex friend, but she's agreeing to it all the way. The kicker? Since the ex has a dog, she's agreed not to leave and leave the dog alone in the house. So, she calls the three or four friends who know, and asks for help, because she's against the wall and her children will go without their stuff if she doesn't get some help. If the story went out widely, he'd feel threatened; but he's reacting very strongly anyway.
So, how to I disenable her from being a victim...without stranding her children without bedding?
Oh, and the customer I've been beating my brains out to get working, it's something that they did to themselves, and now they want us to fix it. It's not unreasonable, but it's not going to happen, certainly not on their timeframe. Gonna be a fun set of meetings.
Oh, and the new roommate is in (hi DB) but he's wiped out, emotionally, physically, monetarily...gonna take a while to integrate.
Fuck.
