I'm tired.

Tired of being lied to, by omission and commission, from the adminstration. Tired of fighting with students who don't want to learn, who will drag their feet in any way. Tired of not having working systems, ranging from Discipline down to a working copy system. Tired of having good students leave. Tired of watching the classroom get trashed--the classroom that doesn't even have the basics needed to do chem labs. Tired of having to apply and reapply basic discipline techniques on students who have failed to pass even one god damned class in 3 years of this school. Tired of not having a cirricula, and having to fight with management over the pacing of it. Tired of the continual drama.

Fuck it, I'm tired. And very frustrated.

1 1/2 days back from vacation--not quite a new record.

I'd give the little asshats the finger as I was strolling away from campus. The further away from middle school and high school that I get, the more I can't stand the kids in those grades.

My experience has been that they get some kind of crazy mob mentality that turns their brains into jelly if anyone else near their age group is watching. It's a more compelling argument for homeschool than any of the academic ones!
