Deep thoughts lost.

Note to self: Avoid poison oak better.

Note #2: Don't slip while trying to push over a pine tree.

That's all.

Oh, dear. I hope it clears up soon.

P.S. Hot water baths for poison oak work really well - it itches like the dickens when you're running hot water over the rash, but that's the histines (sp?) being released, and you'll be itch-free for a couple hours after!

Tecnu!

Tecnu soap is GREAT at getting the oil out--most of the poison oak has subsided already. And yes, for the hot water shower (I don't want to spread the oil, so no bath.)

As for the other--I was uprooting dead trees, and had pushed over 3, which was much easier than using the very dull chainsaw or the very dull axe, and the fourth one, which was slightly bigger and had died this spring, not last fall, was being tenacious. I dug in and rocked it, then pushed hard, and my hands slipped. Cuts/scrapes on the inside of both elbows, and a long scratch down the right side of my face. Neosporin plus painkiller, yay!
