Yay for Berry Ween! A friend of mine lent his Berry Ween trades to me recently, and I of course loved it =) Judd Winick is the man. We saw him at an Eddie Izzard show in SF several years ago.

1. MUSIC:

Strange band; not new. I'm not even sure they're still together, but the Therapy Sisters, out of Austin, get my recommendationo for good if wierd music.

2. BOOKS: New Author:
Not a really new author, but not as read as I think he should be. Steven Gould. I highly recommend Jumper (original) and Blind Waves.
Newer Author/book: Magic Bites, by Illona Andrews. Fun urban fantasy as a light read.

3. RESTAURANTS:
Miramar Beach Inn at Half Moon Bay. More downmarket, The Crepe Place, in Santa Cruz. Even more downmarket, but good, The Castle, a greek/persian hole in the wall on Tasman in Santa Clara.

5. MOVIE: I don't see enough movies to have anyhthing unusual to recommend.

6. COMICS: Two Lumps (www.twolumps.net)
