Bigger, Better, More...Not. Whinge post, please skip.

The poison oak is spreading, almost two weeks after initial exposure.  The plan is to use my old Allegra to try and dehive a bit; if that doesn't work, the hospital will have stronger ones (especially in comparison to my wallet.)

I had poison oak once when I was in An Tir which drove me crazy (and got worse) for a couple of weeks, and then it occurred to me to try the stuff they'd given me for my psoriasis, and it cleared up promptly. I've never encountered it since, but next time, I'll remember to use the solution on hand much sooner!

I am so sorry this is being such a trial for you.

Have you tossed all your clothes into the wash? I'm wondering if there is some of the oil on something you continue to contact?

Ouch!

The yearbooks are being delivered Sunday, BTW.

I've never had poison oak ::knock wood:: but the one time I had poison ivy I ended up getting a cortisone shot. Is that an option for you?
