Turned on the water to water the tomatoes, leaning over the hose winder. The hornets who have decided to next in the hose minder took umbrage and stung me 3 times, finger, arm and back. We'll have a discussion about renter perogatives and privacy a little after dark.

I kinda like them around, he said.
Things sting and hurt, I said.
Hey, we're in their environment, he said, while drilling out more holes for them to live in at his house.
You're a little crazy, I observed.
Hey, I gotta be me, he shouted over the drill.
In the distance, I watched the tiny circling stinging things buzzing through the afternoon sky. Very zen, I thought.
riiiiiight...
The wasps? Living in the hose winder, right by the front door. Well, they were...now they're occupying wasp heaven. And wasps eat flies and mosquitos.
