5 Local Cool things

1. Farmer's Markets. It doesn't matter where you are, once you find a good market it's wonderful.

2. Local food. I always look for it. What is the local specialty? Here, really, it's Rabbit's Foot Meadery. www.rabbitsfootmeadery.com

3. Walking/Biking to stores.

4. Growing whatever grows best in the garden. This year sage, tomato, sunflowers but also some squash.

5. Going away and coming home.

Sent Rabbit's Foot Mead to a friend earlier this month in California who was legally getting married after years of living with his partner and not able to get married - for the "honey"moon of course. I was wondering if after that many years together you get a honeymoon, but it seemed a moot point. They ought to get one along with the wedding. :-)

Of course the only way I knew about them was because of you.
