Enough Angst, already!

I leave for Burning Man sometime this weekend. I'll walk around a dusty city full of cool people and art. There's friends known and unknown there. Inspiration.



I'm going to go contemplate my next step, keep walking, dance every day, contemplate fire art, make the base mold for some household tokens and some steampunkish insignia, possibly build a simple automata, watch the billion bunny march, learn from the AEZ, take a few pictures (but not many), pray in thankfullness, and possibly get so drunk I can't stand up. It's been what, forever since I've done that!

Thanks to Dhaibheadhbheag, I'm vehicled. Thanks to Bridgit, I'm camped. Thanks!

And when I return? More walking, dancing, helping, automata. Dance at the Space 1889 ball (www.peers.org/space1889.html). Try to convince RatGirl to let me fondle her two vespas and a /5 while she's in Bath for a while. Catch Chihuly in SF and the last of the Jellies in Monterey. Start the science/geology class for 6th graders I designed, on my favorite 6th graders. Hunt some paying gigs. Write bad songs, sung loudly.

"In Mechanisburg the Master is near...that's why we're fighting here...and when we're fighting here, our friends are at home drinking all our beer!"

Oh yeah, and smoke some tomatoes. And make a new icon, from this burning man.

I can't go this year due to various things. But I'd love it if some of my equipment went.
