Interesting.

There's a lot of strange things about this election--very strange things. Information delayed, or missing. McCain's son in Iraq, out of the spotlight; backchannel email coming from churches about how Obama will stand with Muslims "when the time comes". This election may be won by the end of days...

Date: 2008-09-08 07:43 pm (UTC)Interestingly, if my family had two kids the savings from Obama changes hardly at all but the information on McCain disappears. Does this mean we'd see no chage at all or just that the website doesn't want to tell us we would save money with the opposition too?
And then there's the question that lots of folks don't ask- are tax cuts always good? This site says we'd save $478 with Obama and our taxes would go up $35 with McCain. What would that $35 pay for and what would we lose for $478? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have more cash, but my taxes are not oppressive or crippling and while I'm not in a rush to volunteer to pay more, I wonder what that $478 would buy the system. Where is the money coming from to replace my $478 or what are we no loonger paying for?
No, I don't expect you to have the answers, just musing. :)
