Vita Bonum Est...
I swear, it's either tears of frustration or tears of laughter at the parties around here...
This last week: Much frustration. Fled up to the City to be tour guide for out of town relatives, figured out much of the MUNI which makes it so easy. Got everyone to the hotel, caught up with Pony from Australia, got everyone to BBB, held the line while they got out of the wind, got in, Beach Blanket Babylon was zany singing brilliance again, got them all into a cab, took the Muni to the land of Charcuteri, chatted, crashed. Got up and hit the farmer's market at the ferry building (nota bene: nice produce, some very good stuff, but Mountain View's Sunday had the same stuff for less money--yay!) Bailed on the cloth buying at this time (alas, need to get machine fixed) got the relatives down to the market, had breakfast, cruised the art, found scrabble cufflinks, said Hi to my favorite blocker, headed back south.
Friday night Waltz in Oakland had a wonderful band--Crepes Musette--absolutely excellent to dance to, very fun. Taught waltz, including to a musical student of the band, very fun person.
Today, big barbeque--beer brats, tritip, salsa (mine), salad, etc.
Tomorrow: Relatives.
Tuesday: Stoppard in the City
Wednesday: Get down to Santa Cruz and see the Pages!
...we'll see how it all shakes out. Right now, food torpor...mmmm, beer brats.

I'm glad you have relatives who give you reasons to have fun.
