Twelfth Night: SCA Family Christmas Dinner

Having now been to both An Tir and Western 12th night this year, and wondering what was interesting to do, and where everyone was...there's an arts display, there's merchants, there's court court court....it's an SCA office party, to a degree.

Things to ponder there.

I call it the SCA prom.

Do they do a Ball at AnTir's? What is the same, what is different? You didn't get to see the Darkwood "centralized" party this year, did you? Right next to the Ballroom--so we could scoot back and forth with no roaming the halls looking for the big party.

There was a ball on Friday night. It was a masked ball and the hotel even had some tables where they put out free nibbles. Very nice! (I've never seen that before here.)

It was nice seeing John at 12th Night. Grendal has been going around trying to lower his voice so that he sounds more like him. Grendal likes his voice.
